Mecklenburg County's Office of Economic Development and local supplier diversity. professionals have teamed up to celebrate black businesses. Our combined efforts of diversity, equity, and inclusion help empower local businesses that have led to changes in policies and practices. The celebration takes place once a year during Black History Month.
The Celebration of Black Business is designed for local community businesses to participate in this allyship as we celebrate local businesses, and historic figures that have led to opportunities for small, minority-owned, and women-owned businesses.
