Small Business Lending and Credit Coaching

This program assists small businesses in Mecklenburg County preparing for and accessing financing that makes good economic and business sense. This program works in collaboration with financial institutions, technical assistance providers and other leveraging partners to help grow a diverse range of businesses in our community.

    • Assist finding financing that fits the client's needs and aligns with the financial institution’s lending objectives.
    • Conduct a financial assessment of the business and owner.
    • Develop a credit building program for Entrepreneurs.
    • Fine tune business plans and financial projections.
    • Identify and evaluate inherent risks in client’s industry.
    • Perform analysis of management, strategies, and goals.
