 After a competitive search, Pacific Life Insurance Co. has selected Mecklenburg County for its new East Coast hub, creating 301 new jobs over the next five years.  

Irish company will create over 20 new jobs in Charlotte to support U.S. growth. 

SoFi Technologies, a digital financial services company, will establish a regional hub in Charlotte, creating 225 new jobs. 

DBR77 — a European industrial intelligence pioneer — is driving industrial transformation across key markets in Europe, Saudi Arabia and now the United States. Its AI-first platform combines autonomous AI agents, digital twin technology and a built-in marketplace. The startup will officially open its first U.S. office in Charlotte this month.

 After a nationwide search, AssetMark Financial Holdings Inc., a leading wealth management platform for financial advisors, will invest $10 million to establish an East Coast hub in Charlotte’s central business district, creating 252 new jobs.

Citigroup will invest $16.1 million to establish a major office facility in Charlotte, creating 510 new jobs.

Daimler Truck Financial Services USA LLC (DTFS), a finance provider for Daimler Truck North America (DTNA), has selected Charlotte as the location for its North American headquarters.

Canadian-based AVL Manufacturing will open its first U.S.-based mobile machine manufacturing plant in Charlotte, creating more than 325 new jobs and investing more than $56 million in the Steele Creek submarket. 

BHS Corrugated North America, a subsidiary of German-based BHS Corrugated Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH, has selected Charlotte for its new North American Experience Center, creating more than 50 jobs over the next several years.  

On Thursday, Mecklenburg County and the City of Charlotte named seven local businesses as winners of the 2025 Crowns of Enterprise Awards.
