Career Expo and Job Application Workshops

Mecklenburg County is helping residents get to work.

Job opportunities are increasing in Mecklenburg County, but some job seekers still have trouble accessing employment that provides a sustainable living wage.

To help fill the gap, in February 2025, Mecklenburg County's Office of Economic Development an Unified Workforce Development are hosting two FREE résumé and job application workshops, and a career expo to connect job seekers with entry level and mid-career opportunities in the advanced manufacturing, construction, and the maintenance and facility management industries.
