Career Expo and Workshops

Mecklenburg County is helping residents get to work.

Job opportunities are increasing in Mecklenburg County, but some job seekers still have trouble accessing employment that provides a sustainable living wage. 

To help fill the gap, in February 2025, Mecklenburg County's Office of Economic Development and Unified Workforce Development are hosting a Career Expo and two FREE Expo Prep Workshops to connect job seekers with entry level and mid-career opportunities in the advanced manufacturing, construction and facilities maintenance management industries.
