In celebration of Small Business Month, Mecklenburg County’s Office of Economic Development is hosting the What’s Next Seminar Series, facilitated by Johnson C. Smith University.
This six-series program is designed to help existing businesses reach the next stage of growth. If you have customers, revenue, and a desire to grow, this is what’s next. Attend individual sessions or earn a certificate of completion for attending the entire series.

Discover how to monitor, measure and interpret the health of your business using your financial dashboard, while learning ways to fund organizational growth.
May 23 "Hiring for the Long Haul" with Dr. LaShana Wiggs
Identify hiring needs, create job descriptions, match the right people to the right positions, and make sure they fit with your existing team and culture.
May 26: "Tales of Growth" with Dr. Eduardo Haynes
Learn lessons from entrepreneurs on how they shifted from working in the business to working on the business.
